The Role:
- Support the sales team by managing contract orders for key accounts, managing critical path to ensure deadlines are met and liaising with buying team to check on progress
- Attend meetings with customers both offsite and onsite with the account managers
- Checking sales contract from factories, managing factory samples and chase customers for approvals
- Keeping on top of customer orders making sure they are taking their deliveries and looking at future repeat orders
- Taking incoming calls and emails from customers and dealing with enquiries, quotations and orders
- Contact new and existing customers to encourage new business
- Check other team members emails when they are on sales trips or holidays
- Plus any other general office duties
About You:
- Must have good IT skills with knowledge of Excel and good administrative skills
- Good telephone manner
- Must be very thorough, well organised and have and attentive to fine detail
- Must have the ability to work efficiently under pressure, prioritising workload to meet deadlines
- Must have experience of working in an office environment
- Good written/ numerical and communication skills
- Well organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team and to be proactive in work
- Must hold a full valid driving licence
- Outgoing confident personality
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm with 1 hour for lunch
Holiday allowance is 21 days + bank holidays and your birthday off, the allowance increases over time (24 days total)
