Mpeople Recruitment have a fantastic new opportunity for a Sales Administrator to join a well-established market-leading business based in Chadderton, Oldham.

  • Location: South Chadderton, Oldham (OL9)
  • Salary: In the region of £25,000 dependent on experience
  • Hours: 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday

Duties would include but not be limited to:

 

  • Sales order processing – processing customer’s orders that come in via email, customer online portals and telephone
  • Accurately enter, monitor and maintain picking lists and invoices
  • Liaise with Sales Managers, Stock Control and outside transport to ensure products are available, prices are correct and orders are delivered in a timely manner
  • Check customer accounts and payment history
  • Liaise with Goods Outwards to manage delivery scheduling
  • Cultivate relationships with customers, transport, and outside stores to ensure customer needs are met
  • Arranging transport to ensure appropriate delivery of goods
  • Answer customer enquiries over the phone and by email

 

The required traits, skills, and background:

  • A minimum of 6 months experience within an office-based role is essential
  • Experience within sales order processing is desirable due to the nature of the role
  • Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or distribution company is also advantageous
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Enthusiastic and a great work ethic
  • Self-motivated
  • A willingness and dedication to learn
