Mpeople Recruitment have a fantastic new opportunity for a Sales Administrator to join a well-established market-leading business based in Chadderton, Oldham.
- Location: South Chadderton, Oldham (OL9)
- Salary: In the region of £25,000 dependent on experience
- Hours: 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday
Duties would include but not be limited to:
- Sales order processing – processing customer’s orders that come in via email, customer online portals and telephone
- Accurately enter, monitor and maintain picking lists and invoices
- Liaise with Sales Managers, Stock Control and outside transport to ensure products are available, prices are correct and orders are delivered in a timely manner
- Check customer accounts and payment history
- Liaise with Goods Outwards to manage delivery scheduling
- Cultivate relationships with customers, transport, and outside stores to ensure customer needs are met
- Arranging transport to ensure appropriate delivery of goods
- Answer customer enquiries over the phone and by email
The required traits, skills, and background:
- A minimum of 6 months experience within an office-based role is essential
- Experience within sales order processing is desirable due to the nature of the role
- Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or distribution company is also advantageous
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Enthusiastic and a great work ethic
- Self-motivated
- A willingness and dedication to learn
