Mpeople Recruitment have a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Customer Care & Sales Administrator to join a thriving manufacturing business based in Delph, Oldham.

  • Location: Delph, Oldham
  • Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 dependent on experience
  • Hours: 8.30am – 5pm, Monday to Thursday & 8.30am – 3pm Friday

Working within a small-team, your day-to-day duties would include:

  • Review, categorise and process all purchase orders received in case file and outlook sales inbox.
  • Liaise with inside and external sales team to ensure product and price accuracy on orders received.
  • Work with purchasing and stores department for inventory lead times and availability
  • Issue accurate order acknowledgements
  • Provide proactive order updates via telephone and email where required.
  • Be first point of contact to answer lead time questions and delivery updates.
  • Respond to customer complaints and escalate where necessary
  • Log correspondence onto customer account record within Salesforce
  • Record and track demo equipment for sales team as part of product release and receive process. 
  • Build and maintain new and existing customer relationships.
  • Participate and contribute to relevant company and departmental meetings.
  • Assist with key information for monthly sales meetings.
  • Occasional spares quotes.
  • Additional sales / office administration tasks where necessary. Data input, sales inbox, answer telephones and general enquiries.

 

The required traits, skills, and background:

  • Experience in sales order processing is essential
  • System experience using Salesforces and/or Oracle would be advantageous
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Problem solving and the ability to effectively manage any customer complaints professionally
  • The ability to manage your own workload and work independently is crucial, as well as being able to work well as a team
  • Good communication and rapport building skills
  • Enthusiastic and a great work ethic
