As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients through the entire conveyancing process, ensuring that every transaction is executed smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Conveyancing Support: Assist in managing property transactions from initial instruction to completion, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and legal compliance at every stage.
- Client and Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, solicitors, and third parties, ensuring smooth communication and the timely exchange of information.
- Document Preparation: Draft, prepare, and review legal documents, contracts, and reports pertinent to property transactions, ensuring they are accurate and meet legal standards.
- Case Management System Maintenance: Accurately update case management systems, tracking progress and ensuring all relevant information is recorded and up to date.
- Administrative Support: Provide essential administrative assistance, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for the team.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any queries or issues that may arise during the conveyancing process, ensuring clients receive excellent service.
Key Requirements:
- Previous Experience: Experience as a Clerk or Conveyancing Assistant in a legal environment, with a solid understanding of the conveyancing process.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of legal documents and case management.
- Excellent Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and maintain an organised workflow.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with clients, solicitors, and colleagues.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team, contributing to a positive and collaborative work culture.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with case management software and other legal technologies commonly used in conveyancing.
