Bookkeeper – Accountancy Practice

Brighouse | Part-time | Permanent | ££ depending on experience

At Mpeople, we’re working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Brighouse to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper.

Role Outline:

You’ll support a varied portfolio of SME clients, ensuring financial records are maintained to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Bookkeeping for multiple clients
• Purchase & sales ledger management
• Bank reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Working with cloud-based accounting systems (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
• Liaising with clients and internal teams

About You:

• Proven bookkeeping experience (practice experience advantageous)
• Confident using cloud accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organisation
• Able to manage multiple deadlines
• A collaborative, professional approach
