The main responsibilities of the Area Sales Manager are:-
- Plan and execute a sales strategy within your region to push my client’s ever expanding and exciting brand
- To be a brand ambassador for my client
- To be first point of contact to clients with any technical questions / queries they may have
- Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned region to generate new business
- Determines together with the Sales Director the customer’s yearly targets and properly conveys them to the customers obtaining their commitment
- Analyses the regions/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers
- Analysis of buying patterns and seasonal trends to determine best laid sales strategy
- Liaise with other internal stakeholders and departments
- Generating leads and follow them up as well as sharing with team
- Keeping up to date on product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through store visits and the reading of industry relevant materials
- Participates in trade shows and conventions
- Fulfill administrative tasks such as weekly reports
- Responsible for brands representation/visibility in store with continued liaising with Marketing Department
The ideal Area Sales Manager would meet the following criteria:-
- Highly organised and capable of managing multiple clients
- Strong written and spoken English skills; highly communicative
- Enjoy traveling and work well independently
- At least two years of experience in the eyewear or eye healthcare industry (preferred)
- Comfortable with applications including MS Teams and modern online ordering systems
- Valid driving license (essential)
- Professional style, representing the company’s mission and objectives when interacting with clients
