Job Title: Vehicle Technician
Hours: 42 hours per week, 8:30am – 5:00pm,30 minutes unpaid break with alternate Saturdays – 8.30am – 12.30pm
Location: Bolton

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, looking to work in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles, including diesel and petrol engines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
• Perform MOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Assist with fleet maintenance and ensure all vehicles are safe and roadworthy.

Skills & Experience:

We welcome candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• General vehicle maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Engine diagnostics and electrical systems
• Fleet maintenance and servicing
• MOT testing and inspections
• Hydraulic, pneumatic, and braking systems
• Vehicle bodywork and light fabrication
• Experience with heavy commercial vehicles or light commercial vans is advantageous

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications or certifications in vehicle maintenance (e.g., NVQ, IMI)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence
