Trainee Engineer

Mpeople recruitment are currently recruiting for a Trainee Engineer for a growing manufacturing business based close to Halifax town centre.

Our clients expanding Warehouse and Engineering team is looking for an adaptive, dedicated candidate who is keen to lean and develop themselves in to an engineer.

The end goal will be to join the fleet of field service engineers that provide repairs and maintenance on machinery and equipment.

The position will initially be split between the warehouse near Halifax town centre, and on the road with engineers, where you will learn and develop the skills required to become an industrial engineer working on commercial appliances.

As your career progresses you will gain the opportunity to earn qualifications such as electrical safety accreditations.

A full and clean UK drivers’ licence is required. Any basic experience as an electrician, plumber, manual labourer or in another trade would be beneficial although not essential as full training will be provided.

GCSE, A level and college leavers are welcome to apply along with more experienced candidates.

Starting salary is £10.00 per hour that will be reviewed as your knowledge increases. 37.5 hours per week but this in future could involve working away from home so please bare that in mind when applying.
