Track Warning System Trainer/Planner - Rail industry
West Yorkshire - travel up and down the country required
£30K - £38K - Depending on experience
Our client is a very busy provider or rail safety using electronic, radio based Track Warning System instead of Lookouts to make track worksites safer.
Our client delivers a range of training course for the use of Track Warning Systems (LOWS, SATWS, ATWS). These courses are delivered across the whole country at the customers premises/training centres.
Therefore the trainer role requires a high level of traveling.
Main requirements will include:
- Training skills, trainer qualification and technical or rail experience
- Good communication skills
- Railway experience, PTS, Lookout, COSS
- MS Office skills
- Technical background ideally electrical/electronic
- Project Management - managing a number of contracts as any one time
- Self organised
- Willing to travel
The planner is drawing up plans as a basis for the installation of the warning systems.
This task includes gathering required information, site survey, meetings with customers (currently mainly online), drawing an installation plan on CAD, identifying site specific conditions/restrictions, liaison with construction companies and commissioning of the system.
