Mpeople recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sustainability Assistant to join a thriving business based in Chadderton, on a full time, permanent basis.

Position Title: Sustainability Assistant 

Location: Chadderton

Salary -upto £30,000

WFH options available- 2 days Hybrid, 3 days I the office

Holidays:  23 Days holiday, increasing every year with a maximum of 25 days. 

Key Responsibilities:

• • Supporting the development and implementation of sustainability strategies.
  • Working closely with suppliers to achieve sustainability targets. i.e decarbonisation, cotton mapping.
  • Assisting with data collection, analysis, and reporting related to sustainability goals.
  • Assisting on circularity projects within textiles.
  • Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to advance sustainability initiatives.
  • Staying updated on trends, policies, and best practices in sustainability.

• Qualifications and Skills:
  • A degree within textiles/business or sustainability is preferred with at least 1 years’ experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
