We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Co-Ordinator for a well-established Manufacturer with a recognised brand, a large client base and operates internationally based in Bolton.  You will be working in a fast-paced Supply Chain department in a company that employ over 600 staff across the group, your main function will be to assist the supply chain, team and operations.  You will be rewarded with ongoing training and development opportunities, a supportive working environment. Hours 37.5 Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm with some flexibility, Salary is £22,500 -£27,500.    

As a Supply Chain Co-Ordinator your responsibilities would include:    

  • Internal and external call handling.    
  • Dealing with general queries on product and pricing both to clients and employees.    
  • Creation, updating and Input of purchase orders.    
  • Research potential suppliers for the best price and delivery and ensure that suppliers deliver to agreed timescales.   
  • Re-allocation of stock to ensure optimum order fulfilment. 
  • Reporting of relevant stock outs, stock levels and supplier issues. 
  • Supplier management. 
  • Track orders and ensure on time and correct to purchase order.    
  • Chase suppliers for product to optimise availability. 
  • Managing replenishment levels to ensure efficient delivery of products to customers.    
  • liaise with suppliers, customers and follow up supplier/ changes and deliveries.    
  • Inbound delivery creation and management ensuring accurate delivery dates. 
  • Review and update supplier lists, and review targets are being met.  
  • Internal and sub-contract production order management. 
  • Managing existing accounts, nurturing new business and accounts.   
  • Updating of all internal systems as per company protocols. 
  • General Administration duties.   

The ideal Suppy Chain Co-Ordinator would meet the following:     

  • Working in a similar role within a supply chain, logistics or manufacturing background is desirable. 
  • Ability to prioritise your own workload, work to targets and deadlines.    
  • Must be PC Literate with a knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.   A knowledge of SAP would be advantageous. 
  • Good working knowledge of Purchasing Software desirable but not essential.    
  • Positive, pro-active, and flexible approach and can work under pressure.   
  • Strong communicator both written and verbal, have a high attention to detail and can work in a fast-paced environment.
