An excellent opportunity has become available for semi-skilled Fitters to join the expanding team of our client based in the Tameside area. This position will work on a full time, permanent basis and successful candidates will be required to have 3 years of referencing and a full DBS check completed.
- Role: Fitter
- Location: Hyde
- Salary: £13.26 per hour to start
- Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday with an early finish on Fridays
Duties as Fitter will include but not be limited to:
- Carry out the assembly process
- Deal with rivets and other fasteners
- Drilling, countersinking, riveting and fitting fasteners
- Reading technical drawings
- Working from customer specifications and work sheets
The successful Fitter will possess the following skills:
- Previous fitting experience in an engineering/manufacturing background
- Ability to work to tight tolerance
