Are you a Sales Executive looking to work for a well-established company based in Golborne, who operate worldwide? The company has a high online presence, has a large client base and due to growth are expanding their team. Your main function will be to build relationships with new and existing clients, identify and secure new business opportunities and contribute to the overall success of the department and company.  You will be rewarded with ongoing training and progression opportunities in the business. Hours of work are 34 per week, Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am – 4pm, with one hour for lunch. Salary is £21,000 to £25,000 per year dependant on experience.    

Sales Executive Duties:  

  • Strong relationship building skills both with new and existing customers.  
  • Accept and handle incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence from internal departments.   
  • Connecting with your customers from initial online enquiry and have a drive to understand their needs.   
  • Contributing to the overall success and development of the business.   
  • Proactively identify, target, chase and secure new business opportunities   
  • Prepare, organise and manage bespoke quotations, following up on quotes and turning into confirmed sales.   
  • Using your specialist skills to recommend, upsell products that meet customer requirements and support them through the sales process.   
  • Internal and external call handling.  
  • Account Management of customers.  
  • Answer technical queries and keep up to date with new products.  
  • Liaising with internal departments to manage customer requests and deliveries. 

Sales Executive Requirements:  

  • Previous experience in a B2B Sales, Account Management, Sales Order Processing or Sales Administration role with a knowledge of selling products or services would be advantageous. 
  • Experience of client meetings would be advantageous, however, is not essential. 
  • Worked in a fast-paced environment and can meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise your own workload in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Experience of Microsoft office, Word, Outlook, Excel, and training will be given on internal systems. 
  • Good Communication skills, ability to build rapport quickly, customer focused, and a team player is essential.   
  • Must have a high level of accuracy, strong communication both written and verbally.
