An excellent opportunity has become available for experienced Sales Engineers to join the expanding team of our client based in the Tameside area. This position will work on a full time, permanent basis and successful candidates will be required to have 3 years of referencing and a full DBS check completed.
- Role: Sales Engineer
- Location: Dukinfield
- Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
- Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday with an early finish on Fridays
Duties as Sales Engineer will include but not be limited to:
- Working from technical drawings and interpreting customer engineering data
- Understanding customer requirements and what is needed to manufacture the product
- Establishing the correct department required for each clients enquiry
- Handling existing enquiries within the business
- Contacting suppliers where required and expediting where necessary
- Tracking customer enquiries through the CRM systems and keeping them up to date
- Collating costs into a deliverable price for the customer
- Creating submission documents for customers
The successful Sales Engineer will possess the following skills:
- Experience within a manufacturing/engineering environment is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work within a fast pace environment
