Mpeople are currently working with a family run business based on the outskirts of Huddersfield who are looking for a sales despatch assistant.

The vacancy is to work in their retail sales area, the position is varied and every day can be different, the role will entail dealing face to face with customers, via email and answering the telephone. The successful candidate must have a pleasant confident manner, with some retail sales experience required but not necessarily in their niche industry they are in as training will be provided.

Daily responsibilities of the role include (but not limited to):

• Process spare parts and accessory orders
• Assist customers directly - in person, by telephone and email, customer service & general enquiries
• Maintain cleanliness of Shop floor
• Process orders

Applicants must have:

• Some retail and telecommunications experience
• Computer Literate. Word / Excel Minimum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team spirited and customer orientated.

The salary is negotiable depending on experience.
