Are you a Sales Advisor with some understanding of Trade Counter Sales, looking to work for a well-established company who have multiple sites throughout the UK.   You will be based at the Head Office in Bradford where your main function will be to Carry out duties which will assist in the smooth and efficient running of the Bradford Sales department. You be rewarded with ongoing training, advanced career opportunities, flexible working and Christmas shutdown.  Salary is £24,000 - £26,000 hours are 38.35 per week 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. Monday to Thursday and 8.30 am to 4.30 pm on Friday.

Sales Advisor Duties:  

  • Dealing with customers via telephone, email and trade counter. 
  • Processing customer sales enquiries and purchase orders.  
  • Processing customer quotations, via email or online portal and following up quotes by telephone and logging on CRM. 
  • Converting quotes into sales orders and updating the customer portal. 
  • Expediting customer orders with the inhouse purchasing team or suppliers. 
  • Connecting with your customers from initial online enquiry and have a drive to understand their needs.    
  • Dealing with and responding to a high volume of emails from customers and internal departments. 
  • Internal and external call handling. 
  • Communicating any delivery date changes to the customer in a timely manner. 
  • Supporting the Department Manager to achieve the sales targets set by the business & any additional targets set within any customer service agreement that may be in place.  
  • Developing new sales opportunities for our existing customer and delegate to the relevant team for follow up. 
  • Maintaining logs and updates on the company systems as per company protocol. 
  • Communicate any issues to the Department Manager as they arise.  
  • Providing our customers with exceptional customer service levels.  
  • Answer technically queries and keep up to date with new products.   

Sales Advisor Requirements:  

  • Experience in sales or a call centre environment with a knowledge of selling products or services and face to face customer interactions required.  
  • Worked in a fast-paced environment and can meet deadlines essential.  
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise own workload, experience of Microsoft office, Word, Outlook and CRM, systems desirable.  
  • A knowledge of SAP, ERP and CRMs would be advantageous however, training will be given. 
  • Good Communication skills, ability to build rapport quickly, team player.   
  • Must have a high level off accuracy, strong communication both written and verbally.
