Mpeople Recruitment have a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Sales Administrator to join a thriving business based in Newhey, Rochdale.
- Location: Newhey, Rochdale (OL16)
- Salary: £22,500 - £25,500 dependent on experience
- Hours: 8.30am – 5pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8.30am - 3pm Friday
Duties would include but not be limited to:
- Sales order processing
- Working closely with the sales team to provide administrative support as required
- Delivering first class customer service via telephone, email and face-to-face
- Producing and sending out quotations to existing customers, and potential customers
- Dealing with any complaints and problem-solving
- A variety of other administrative tasks such as processing credit notes, maintaining price lists, sales reporting, updating customers on shipping and timescales etc
- Making outbound calls to existing and lapsed customers in order to promote new products, and maximise customer spend where possible
The required traits, skills, and background:
- Experience within sales order processing is desirable due to the nature of the role
- Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or distribution company is also advantageous
- The ability to manage your own workload and work independently is crucial, as well as being able to work well as a team
- Good communication and rapport building skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Enthusiastic and a great work ethic
- Self-motivated
