Purchasing & Sales Administrator

Mpeople Recruitment are currently seeking a Purchasing and Sales Administrator to join a leading organisation based in Failsworth to support the Key Account Manager for a large customer account.

Hours: 08:30 – 16:30, (35 hour week)

Salary: £19,000 - £24,000 dependent on experience

Location: Hollinwood, Failsworth

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Send out and collate quotation enquires from all suppliers
  • Raising client quotations
  • Take off and Schedule materials from drawings and specifications
  • Raise tenders for materials orders.
  • Collate quotes, analyse & negotiate with suppliers
  • Collate a handover folder and attend the handover meeting
  • Raise and issue Purchase orders through Zero and Workflow
  • Establish excellent working relationships with suppliers, site teams and contracts management
  • Control of all correspondence between the business and key customer account
  • Join Zoom meeting when required
  • General admin support for key account manager
  • Check invoices are paid via account team
  • Resolve invoice queries
  • Assist the Purchasing Manager and MD where necessary

 

Skills & Attributes Required:

  • Computer literate / Microsoft Office in particular Excel
  • Experience in using Excel/workflow would be an advantage
  • Highly numerate with efficient administration
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • 2+ years’ preferred in a purchasing/buying role within the hospitality sector, ideally material and equipment would be advantageous
