Your main function will be to project plan and manage, whilst having the capability in delivering projects with multiple elements on a cross discipline and or multi supplier basis areas of the group businesses. There will be requirements to travel to clients' sites. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7.00 am to 3.30 pm Salary £35,000 –£45,000 dependant on experience.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Plan manage and organise a range of projects across the business.
- Understanding of concepts, procedures and applications pf project management and extensive knowledge in other subjects or disciplines relevant to the context of the project.
- Utilises company systems, methods, and processes to ensure delivery within agreed time and financial targets.
- Consistently looking for ways to deliver continuous improvement, whilst channelling resources effectively developing best delivery practices or identifying change impacts within the organisation.
- Managing relationships, risk, and engagement for a successful project outcome.
- Deliver projects to contracted service levels, whilst maintaining and developing customer satisfaction.
- Taking control of small, large, complex, long-term, and multiple projects at any one time.
- Channel resources effectively developing best delivery practise to identify the impact, risk, and engagement.
- Travel to other company sites within the group and to external clients as required.
About you:
- Have project management experience within a Manufacturing, Engineering, or production setting, with a knowledge of ISO9001 is desirable.
- Prince 2 Qualification, studying towards (or equivalent).
- Understanding of RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statement) processes.
- Must hold a current UK Driving licence and have own vehicle due to travel to other sites.
- Demonstrable experience in delivering projects from assembling a project team to delivering finalised projects to both external customers and stakeholders.
- Possess strong organisational, communication and leaderships skills with the ability to build excellent customer and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong communicator, confident in making decisions, able to delegate in writing as well as face to face interactions with the team and wider staff.
- Required high attention to detail, good organisational skillset, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst prioritising workloads.
- Ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, Excel.
