Mpeople have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Production Support person to join a well-established company based in the Hyde area. My client is looking for someone to join their expanding team on a full time, permanent basis.
Successful candidates will be subjected to 3 years employment referencing and a DBS check.
- Role: Production Support
- Location: Hyde
- Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
- Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm and Friday, 8am to 4pm.
Duties as Production Support will include but not be limited to:
- Material handling and movement throughout site.
- Recycling of materials
- Tool handing, incorporate health checks and cleaning
- Stores and packing duties
- Workshop 5s and organisation support
- Ad hoc/back up driving duties
- Support manufacturing and quality team
- Basic production tasks
- General housekeeping
- Operating MRP/Scheduling systems
- Use of SAP and Microsoft packages
The successful Manufacturing Support Staff will possess the following skills:
- An understanding of sheet metal/welding/fabrication techniques
- Ability to deal with heavy lifting
- Knowledge of the aerospace industry would be advantageous
- Full clean driving license would be ideal
- Experience using an MRP/Scheduling system
- Experience using SAP and Microsoft packages
