Due to company growth, Mpeople have a fantastic opportunity available for experienced Production Supervisor to join the team of our well-established client based in the Tameside area. This position will work on a full time, permanent basis.
Due to the nature of the business, successful candidates will be required to undergo 3 years of references and a DBS check.
- Role: Production Supervisor
- Location: Ashton
- Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 + a performance bonus paid every six months
- Hours: 8am to 5pm, with an early finish on Fridays
Duties:
- Must be committed to working safely and comply with the 5S standards in place.
- Previous supervisor experience essential and must be within a manufacturing environment
- Ideal candidate will be a timed served sheet metal worker / fabricator
- Ability to read / understand drawings and aerospace specifications.
- Key process knowledge: material cutting (CNC rout or punch), heat treatment, forming (hand form, rubber press, press-brake), various inspection methods.
- Key skills: MRP, problem solving, effective decision making, waste elimination, continuous improvement identification, energetic and forward thinking, excellent communication and people management skills
