Are you a Production Process Operator looking to work weekday nights in a well-established award-winning internationally manufacturing company in Standish? Due to growth the company is now expanding their team. Your main function will be the batch manufacturer of products.  You will be rewarded with an employer that are Investors in staff training, current technology. Hours are 48 per week, permanent nights, Monday - Thursday 6pm - 6am with a salary of £18.74 per hour (£46,775 per annum). During your first 12 weeks of employment, you will be on a 12-week training course 48 hours per week carried out weekdays Monday to Thursday 48 hours per week.   

Production Process Operator Duties:  

  • The retrieving, weighing, and mixing/reacting chemical ingredients. 
  • Monitoring equipment during the chemical process and recording information to ensure quality, safety and efficiency. 
  • To help improve processes or products by reporting observations during manufacturing and to work with the production team members to aid development of best processes and products. 
  • To manufacture products according to details and instructions stated on the formulation batch sheet and specification, and to report in writing any deviations from these procedures immediately to the appropriate parties.

  • Respond to required corrective and preventive action in a timely manner  
  • FLT operator duties as required. 
  • Monitoring of raw materials requirements and informing supervisor when finished products are suitably packaged for movement to the warehouse.  
  • Participate as required in design / Hazard reviews. 
  • Maintain workplace to a good housekeeping standard. 

Production Process Operator Requirements: 

  • Experience of working in a chemical, process type industry or experience of working on a COMAH site would be advantageous, however, training will be given. 
  • A current Forklift truck licence is essential. 
  • Ability to follow manufacturing Instructions. 
  • Must be able to comply with safety and quality regulations, including wearing and maintaining PPE. 
  • Strong communication both written and verbal, good numeracy skillset and able to build relationships. 
  • Ideally, we are looking for a candidate who understands working in fast-paced environments with the ability to prioritise and adapt to change, whilst able to understand process or continuous improvement.      
  • Team player, hands on approach with a positive attitude to learning and can work collaboratively.
