We are looking for an experienced parts manager to join a fast-growing nationwide company based in Oldham.

Experienced Parts Manager to lead a team of 4
You will be required to manage the following areas of the business directly and through your team.
- Lead the day to day procurement process
- Ensuring minimum and maximum stock levels are achieved
- Liaise with our suppliers around the world to maintain a healthy relationship
- Manage costs and stock value in line with company’s guidelines
- Warranty management
- Ensure customers’ queries are dealt with fully and efficiently
- Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organisation
- Contribute to the continual improvement process through the suggestion of new initiatives
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Mentoring and coaching personnel under their remit
- Produce KPI reports on stock levels, purchasing activity, inventory accuracy and supplier performance
Requirements
- Proven parts management experience
- Strong procurement and purchasing experience
- Work closely with overseas suppliers
- IT literate with good experience in excel
- Good time management
- Experience in automotive or machinery parts
- Delegation and positive leadership
- CRM System Protean usage
The Person
The role would suit an experienced person who has come from a busy environment. Experience in managing a team is essential. The ability to multi-task and work on your own initiative will be key. Organisation, attention to detail and a professional attitude is very important. Ensuring stock balances reflect the planned workload will be essential.
The Company has had high levels of growth over the last 5 years and specialise in the sale, service and hire of mechanical and electric trucks and vehicles. They are currently looking to strengthen the service offering and enhance the service experience of our customers.
