Mpeople Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and versatile Office & Accounts Assistant on behalf of our reputable and well-established manufacturing client based in Lees, Oldham (OL4).
- Hours: 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday (flexibility with hours of work)
- Location: Lees, Oldham (OL4)
- Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
The Accounts Assistant will be working within a small office team to look after accounts duties, as well as a variety of other administrative tasks.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Purchase Ledger duties
- Sales Ledger and Credit Control duties
- Payroll once a month
- HR duties such as onboarding and inputting new starter details
- Liaising with couriers to schedule deliveries for customer orders
- Working closely with Management, the Sales & Customer Service team, as well as Production
- Any other administrative tasks as required by the wider business
To be considered for this role, you will:
- Have previous experience working within a varied Accounts position
- Preferably have experience completing payroll for internal staff
- Any HR experience would be advantageous but isn’t essential
- Have excellent attention-to-detail and accuracy
- Be a competent systems user that can quickly pick up CRM systems, and efficiently use Microsoft Office (including Excel)
- Be a great team-player, however also be able to independently manage their own work load
- Be reliable and dedicated
