Looking for a role where your organisational skills genuinely make a difference?

An established and well-regarded legal practice is seeking a Legal Administrator/Secretary to join its busy Family Law team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with prior legal support experience who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment and enjoys being a key part of a collaborative team.

This is a highly administrative role, supporting multiple fee earners with a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

The Role:
You’ll play a central role in keeping cases moving efficiently, providing high-quality administrative and secretarial support across a range of family law matters. Work is managed digitally via a case management system and dictation tools, so strong IT skills and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and formatting legal documents, correspondence, and bundles
  • Audio typing and managing dictation workflows
  • Maintaining accurate records using a case management system
  • Liaising with clients and third parties, including handling sensitive situations professionally
  • Managing inboxes, diaries, and general administrative duties
  • Supporting multiple team members and prioritising workloads effectively

About You:

  • Previous experience in a legal support or administrative role (family law exposure advantageous)
  • Comfortable working to deadlines in a busy environment
  • Strong typing skills (audio typing experience preferred)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Confident communicator with a professional and empathetic approach
  • IT proficient across Microsoft Office and document management systems

What’s on Offer:

  • Competitive salary package
  • Generous holiday allowance with increases based on service
  • Health and wellbeing support
  • Pension scheme
  • A supportive, team-focused working environment
  • Potential flexibility around working pattern

If you’re a reliable and proactive administrator looking to build your career within a respected legal setting, this could be a great next step.
