Marketing Officer
Contract until May 2026 may get extended
22 hours per week - hybrid working
£13.80 - £15.90 per hour (27K -£31K pro rota) depending on experience
Join our dynamic team in Huddersfield as a Part time Contract Marketing Officer for a reputable charitable company. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in marketing to make a meaningful impact within a compassionate and community-focused organisation. As a key member of the marketing team, you will contribute to shaping the company’s message, engaging with the community, and strengthening its presence in the social care sector.
Duties will include:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the company's services and initiatives
- Create engaging content for various communication channels, including social media, websites, and print materials
- Coordinate marketing campaigns and track their effectiveness to continually improve outreach efforts
- Assist in organising community events and promotional activities to build relationships within the local area
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and effective messaging
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth
- Work with the Brand Marketing and Corporate Partnerships Manager and the Projects and Contracts Manager to develop, plan and implement marketing strategies and campaigns
- Promote the programme in line with the companies marketing strategy using the companies communication channels including the promotion of testimonials, case studies, images and video content
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive analysis
- Manage the production of marketing materials including brochures, press releases, digital content, and promotional items
- Work with the Stakeholder Engagement Lead to identify additional targeted marketing channels
- Draft, build and manage email marketing campaigns to stakeholders
- Coordinate multi-channel marketing campaigns including email , social media, events, and exhibitions
- SEO
- Experience as a Marketing Executive or similar role
- Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools
- Creativity and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
