Maintenance Technician

12 hour shifts 4 days one week 4 nights week after

Normanton

£35K - £43K depending on experience

Calling all Electrical/Mechanical engineers

Our client based in Normanton is seeking an experienced production/Engineering Lead to assist with the smooth running of the plant, dealing with equipment shortages, breakdowns, support production needs to ensure downtime is to a minimum

The ideal candidate will have engineering experience within an automated environment - FMCG or similar. Proven hands on experience and ideally a relevant engineering qualification.

Duties and Experience to include:

Compile and report plant engineering performance - downtime etc

Plant overall equipment effectiveness

Conformance with HSE legislation

Respond to equipment and facilities breakdowns

Support with Engineering corrective action 

Purchasing of engineering equipment and materials

Maintain levels of critical spares

Advise and any potential risks and solutions

Oversee any engineering projects, equipment fixes or installations

Control calibration records

Control engineering data

Maintain engineering service records

Use and knowledge of core engineering pneumatics, electrics, hydraulics, welding
