Mpeople Recruitment are assisting in the recruitment of an IT Administrator for a multifaceted transport company, you will be based at their Morley site. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of IT Support including the support of desktops, servers, networks across all depots. As well as providing software support for our in-house applications including testing and deliverance. Sound like you? The position is permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday 9.000 am – 5.00 pm offering a salary of £25,000.

As an IT Administrator your responsibilities would include:

  • Internal and external call handling, responsible for answering all employee IT calls and recording as per company protocol.
  • Record and update all IT queries.
  • Assist and deal with all technical problems and fix issues where possible independently and remotely within a reasonable time frame (internal systems.
  • Escalate any unresolved issues to Group IT Manager.
  • Liaise and visiting depots to fix issues that cannot be resolved via telephone and email.
  • Assisting with internal and external projects and work on the implementation of IT solutions (both hardware and software).
  • Help to maintain ongoing continuous improvement and liaising with external third-party IT Support company.
  • Creating and maintaining our standard operating procedures, along with creating test plans and action anything generated from them.
  • Adhere to all targets, deadlines and SLAs.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required by the business.

 

The Ideal IT Administrator would meet the following:

  • 2+ years’ experience providing technical customer support, a computing or technical degree or have achieved industry-related certifications or will currently be working towards gaining these.
  • You will have proven experience of troubleshooting Office 365, Windows 10 and other systems along with the use of standard computing disciplines including Change, Configuration, Problem, Performance and Operational Management.
  • The role requires a sound understanding of various operating systems, browser, inclusive of troubleshooting skillset.
  • Must have a knowledge of technical language and IT literacy, have a high attention to detail, ability to communicate both written and verbally and able to multi task.
  • We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, can work well in a team and possess strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders and understand working to deadline and targets.
