Position: Inquest Solicitor or Legal Executive

Role Summary:
The firm is now looking to appoint a dedicated and experienced Inquest Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their busy Leeds City Centre office. You will take ownership of inquest matters, including Article 2 cases, and work with Legal Aid Agency (LAA) funding where required.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of inquest matters, including Article 2 inquests

Offer clear advice on Legal Aid Agency (LAA) and other funding routes

Conduct investigations and prepare detailed legal submissions

Liaise with coroners, clients, and key stakeholders

Deliver high standards of legal representation and client care
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive

Solid experience in inquest work, including Article 2 and LAA-funded cases

Strong communication and advocacy skills

Able to work independently and within a wider team
