We are excited to partner with a forward-thinking logistics company based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, to find a dedicated Freight Customer Administrator.

This permanent role is perfect for someone with experience within Freight, Import, Export or transport who is looking to join a supportive team committed to excellence in freight and logistics services.

The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring smooth operational flow, delivering outstanding customer service, and supporting the company's continued growth. Duties to include:

  • Coordinate and manage freight operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery schedules
  • Communicate with clients, carriers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth logistics processes
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve any operational issues efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shipments and freight movements
  • Support the preparation of shipping documentation and customs paperwork as necessary
  • Assist with the planning and optimisation of transport routes and deliveries
  • Proven experience within a similar role
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in relevant software and freight management systems
