FINANCE MANAGER – PERMANENT
Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
There is an opportunity to join my client as a “hands on” Finance Manager at their offices in Tameside.
The main responsibilities of the Finance Manager roles are:-
- To complete a client money calculation each month within FCA guidelines
- Instruct the transfer of brokerage from client accounts to office accounts
- Review the insurance debtor and creditor reports for aged items
- Prepare Management Accounts including profit and loss, trial balance and month-end schedules
- Prepare month end journals, payroll, prepayments and accruals; brokerage from the Insurance system
- Complete payment runs using Sage Line 50
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Annual budgeting and forecasting
The ideal Finance Manager would meet the following criteria:-
- Demonstrable experience at a similar level (essential)
- AAT / ACCA / CIMA Preferred but not essential
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (including SUMIFs, VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables)
- Ability to problem solving
- Strong level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication
- Self-motivated
- Team player
