Job Opportunity: Permanent Field Service Engineer - Based North Shields

Our client is seeking an experienced, customer focused Field Service Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be based locally around North Shields and cover customer sites across the UK when required.

The successful candidate will ensure client satisfaction through the installation, servicing and repairs of products. You will be primarily responsible for customer operations, managing them in a professional, timely and efficient manner.

To be successful in the position, the ideal candidate should have:

• Time served electro/mechanical apprenticeship
• Electrical competency on 3 & single phase supply
• PLC awareness/functional understanding
• Knowledge of rotating equipment, Compressor and vacuum plant maintenance preferred.
• Previous experience in a field-based customer facing role
• PC literate

Ideal candidate locations would be North Shields, Tynemouth, Murton, Wallsend, Jarrow, South Shields, Hebburn
