With nearly 20 years of industry expertise, our client supports businesses across the UK in protecting electrical systems and infrastructure from power-related risks. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Field Sales Executive to cover the London & South East region.
- Job Title: Field Sales Executive – London & South East
- Basic Salary: £32,000 - £38,000
- Additional benefits: £8,000 annual bonus paid quarterly, plus company car
- Full-Time, Permanent Role
The Role: This is a field-based position focused on new business development and account management, where you will be responsible for building strong relationships and driving sales growth across your territory. You will be engaging with a range of clients including distributors, contractors, and technical professionals, offering tailored solutions to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and win new business through proactive prospecting, networking, and cold outreach
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with both prospective and existing customers
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Manage and grow a defined sales territory across London & the South East
- Deliver product presentations and clearly communicate value propositions
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Maintain accurate records of activity, leads, and pipeline via CRM systems
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a high level of customer service
- Represent the business professionally at meetings and industry events
About You
- Proven experience in a field-based sales role
- Strong background in new business development alongside account management
- Ideally experience selling into electrical wholesalers or a related technical sector
(however, candidates from other technical sales backgrounds will also be considered)
- A proactive, results-driven approach with a strong desire to succeed
- Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage your own diary and workload
- Demonstrable ability to close deals and achieve targets
Additional Information: Initial training will take place at the Head Office in Manchester for the first few days or working week. After this there is an ongoing requirement to attend monthly company and sales meetings in Manchester.
