DEBT RECOVERY ASSOCIATE
Garforth, Leeds – up to £26K plus benefits

The main responsibilities of the Debt Recovery Associate role are:-
- Effectively and efficiently collect owed monies from business customers
- Follow up on deadlines and schedule further action
- Ability to deal with disconnections with both firm action and empathy
- Liaise with 3rd party debt management companies to track and recover long-standing debt
- Liaise with senior management to approve settlement and write-offs
- Assisting the queries surrounding outstanding invoices
- Continuous improvement of ongoing processes
The ideal Debt Recovery Associate would meet the following criteria:-
- Ability to identify debt risks and escalate when necessary
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Manage conflicting priorities
- Excellent communication skills up to senior management
- Confident with MS Office suite
- Ability to use initiative and manage own workload within required timescales
- Disciplined and organised with the ability to work under pressure
