Mpeople are excited to be recruiting for our client who are a manufacturing company based in Chadderton Oldham for a Customer Service Coordinator.

  • Salary: In the region of £23,000 dependent on experience
  • Hours of work: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
  • Holidays: 2 annual bonus schemes (service bonus & performance bonus), 26 days holiday for the year + bank holidays, free onsite parking, & pension scheme

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Promote and develop excellent customer relations with the business’ customers.
  • Deliver an exceptional level of customer service to new and existing customers.
  • Handle customer queries; responding quickly and efficiently.
  • Receive and process customer sales orders for a designated geographical area.
  • Able to co-ordinate customer visits, handle key accounts and coordinate deliveries and services.
  • Actively develop product knowledge and procedural expertise.
  • Proactively canvass sales to ensure best utilisation of transport.
  • Support marketing during promotions and product launches and handle response to marketing campaigns.
  • Accurate data input.
  • Effective liaison with colleagues to organise make-to-order items.

Required skills/qualities/experience:

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel is essential
  • Experience of using SAP would be advantageous
  • Ability to work in an enthusiastic and committed team in a fast-paced customer focused environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to interact effectively with colleagues, suppliers and customers to develop key relationships.
  • Customer Service focused, demonstrating a passion and commitment to achieving excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work independently, to use initiative and maintain attention to detail.
  • Able to accurately enter and manage data.
  • Able to organise and prioritise.
  • Proven aptitude for Sales.
  • ‘Can do’ attitude.
