Mpeople Recruitment are currently seeking an proactive and enthusiastic Customer Service Administrator on behalf of our client based in Failsworth, Manchester.

 

  • Salary: £21,000 - £24,000 dependent on experience and skill set
  • Location: Failsworth (M35)
  • Hours: 08:45 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday, and 08:45 – 15:00 Friday

 

Our client are recruiting for this entry-level role due to business growth, and are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years of experience within a Customer Service role (face-to-face or over the phone), who is hungry to learn and develop their skill-set within an office environment.

 

To begin with our client would be looking for someone to cover basic administrative and customer service tasks, with the eventual goal of being a Trainee Market Assistant, where duties would include:

  • Act as an essential member of the internal sales team.
  • Operate within established processes and systems to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Review and validate customer orders for contractual compliance before processing through to delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Operations supervisor to provide efficient, effective, and professional customer service.
  • Option to work towards a formal apprenticeship qualification.

 

The required traits, skills, and background:

 

  • Strong communication skills – written, verbal, and face-to-face.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with good numeracy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, remaining calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ambitious and motivated to learn, develop, and progress.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, punctual, and reliable.
  • Proactive, with the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Keen to identify and contribute to process and service improvements.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office applications. Educated to A Level standard (or equivalent).
  • Experience in business administration or customer service roles is desirable but not essential.
  • Consideration will also be given to first-time employees with the right attitude, aptitude, and qualities.
