Mpeople Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller on behalf of our well-established client in Rochdale.
- Location: Rochdale (OL16)
- Hours of work: 09.00-17.30, Monday to Friday
- Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum dependent on experience
Our client is a reputable Road Traffic Accident Management Company that have been established for over 10 years.
This role is a new role to their business, working within their Recoveries department who are responsible for dealing with motor claim settlements. This individual will manage a case load of approximately 200 repair claims, and will be responsible for the swift negotiation and settlement of client’s repair charges from Insurance companies.
Duties will include:
- Negotiating with insurance companies in order to reach payment settlements
- Chasing insurers via emails, letters and telephone in order to reach settlements as quickly as possible
- Obtaining supporting documents from repairers and engineers such as reports, estimates, images, invoices etc.
- Preparing cases for litigation and instructing solicitors to act where settlement cannot be achieved
- Working closely with the Recovery Handlers within the team who will also be negotiating with the Insurers for settlement of other heads of loss.
The required traits, skills, and background:
- Credit control or cash collection experience is preferred but not essential
- Confident negotiator
- Confident communicator, both written and verbally
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Attention to detail and problem solving
