Conveyancing Assistant – Residential & New Build Property

We are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join our busy Guiseley office, supporting both residential and new build property teams. This is a client-focused role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a professional, efficient, and friendly service.
The Role
This position requires a candidate with prior experience in conveyancing, specifically in sales and purchase transactions, who can hit the ground running. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Opening new files, inputting instructions into the Case Management system, and producing relevant documents.
- Updating and maintaining the Case Management system in line with team procedures.
- Issuing contracts on sale files and assisting with replies to enquiries.
- Ordering property searches and handling exchange and completion processes.
- Issuing Mortgage Reports to clients.
- Managing incoming post, telephone enquiries, and general administrative duties.
Key Skills & Experience
- 12+ months of experience in a conveyancing role, particularly in sales and purchase transactions.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of client contact.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all documentation.
- Ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Confident IT skills, including proficiency in Case Management systems.
- A team player with a proactive and adaptable approach to work.
