Commercial Administrator

Shipley area – up to £25,000 plus generous benefits

Our client is looking for a Commercial Administrator to play a direct role in the sales generation to the company.  Providing quotations to customers and answering queries.

The main responsibilities of the Commercial Administrator role are:-

  • To liaise with clients / customers via phone and email
  • Provide verbal and written quotations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Handle any invoicing and / or pricing disputes that may arise
  • Grow and maintain working relationships with clients and new companies
  • Maintain and answer the Pricing Inbox
  • Competitor analysis to provide strategic guidance to management

The ideal Commercial Administrator would meet the following criteria:-

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role is essential
  • Ability to work to deadlines and have great communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Demonstrable experience within freight forwarding or shipping
  • Ideally have experience working on freight industry systems
