Senior Business Development Manager

£60,000 with excellent OTE and benefits

Mpeople are proud to be working with a global travel management solutions provider as they are looking to add to their business development team. as a Senior Business Development Manager in Corporate Travel.

Based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, our client is an award-winning provider of innovative travel management solutions for corporate and government clients. Focusing on delivering personalised service excellence and cutting-edge technology to ensure clients receive the best return on investment. We are excited to invite a proven salesperson with a background in business development, particularly within the travel sector, to help us further grow our corporate business. You will be supported by a dynamic team, and your ideas will contribute to enhancing our loyal client base while navigating the competitive landscape of the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new potential partnerships within the corporate sector.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline focused on driving revenue and market penetration in the European Corporate market.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management and marketing to enhance brand awareness.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other effective techniques.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of smaller quick wins alongside longer-term strategic prospects.
  • Deliver credible sales presentations aligning brand solutions to client requirements.
  • Manage the RFP process, write proposals, and provide commercial pricing.
  • Meet high-volume sales targets consistently.
  • Coordinate with other sales personnel and marketing to properly position the company brand.
  • Attend industry-specific networking events, both in-person and online.
  • Work closely with the Corporate operations team as needed.

Successful Candidate Profile:

  • A proven track record in sales within the corporate travel industry.
  • Understanding of corporate travel logistics is desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and analytical abilities.
  • Strong commercial acumen with account management experience as an advantage.
