The main responsibilities of the Billing Associate role are:-
- Timely billing of all active sites within the portfolio
- Respond to complex account and billing queries, both internal and external
- Investigate and determine root cause pf any billing issues
- Follow up on deadlines and co-ordinate further action where required
- Maintain accurate billing standards to ensure a smooth customer journey
- Ability to recognise potential risks to the company that should be escalated
The ideal Billing Associate would meet the following criteria:-
- At least 1 years experience within a billing team is essential
- Knowledge of the industry with regards to how the different utilities are billed is desirable
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- PC literate. especially Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to recognise potential risks to the company that should be escalated
