B2B Recovery Executive (Credit Control / Claims)

Mpeople Recruitment are currently recruiting for a B2B Recovery Executive on behalf of our well-established client based in Rochdale. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller, Recoveries Advisor, or Collections professional who has experience successfully recovering money from businesses.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of up to 300 claims, negotiating the recovery of client losses from third parties including insurers, solicitors, and other organisations.

To be considered for this role, you must have experience recovering outstanding monies from businesses, either within a B2B credit control, commercial collections, accounts receivable, recoveries, or motor claims environment.

Job Details

• Location: Rochdale (OL16)

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00 or 09:00–17:30 (37.5 hours per week)

• Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Company

Our client specialises in credit hire and vehicle repair, providing accident management services to customers involved in non-fault road traffic accidents. They manage the full accident journey, from vehicle hire and repairs through to recovering associated costs from the responsible insurers.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload of up to 300 claims

• Negotiating recovery of outstanding costs from insurers, solicitors, and other third parties

• Recovering credit hire, repair, storage, recovery, and uninsured losses

• Investigating and resolving liability and quantum disputes

• Liaising with solicitors, insurers, clients, and referrers

• Processing payments, incoming correspondence, and telephone enquiries

• Maintaining accurate records and progressing claims efficiently

Skills and Experience Required

• Experience recovering money from businesses is essential

• Previous experience within B2B credit control, commercial collections, recoveries, or claims handling

• Confident negotiator with the ability to achieve successful outcomes

• Strong telephone communication and relationship-building skills

• Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage a large caseload

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office

• Knowledge of credit hire, motor claims, ABI GTA, or accident management is advantageous but not essential
