Mpeople Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity available for an Auto Electrician to join a well-established and growing company based in Bacup OL13.

• Position: Auto Electrician
• Location: Bacup OL13
• Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
• Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm

Responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out electrical wiring on new-build commercial vehicles.
• Installing electrical systems on tipper bodies, skip loaders and hook loaders.
• Installing vehicle safety equipment, including reversing cameras and vehicle CCTV systems.
• Fitting work lights, beacons, LED lighting and other electrical accessories.
• Diagnosing and fault-finding electrical issues on commercial vehicles, tipper bodies and lifting equipment.
• Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Testing and inspecting electrical installations to ensure they are safe and fully operational.
• Repairing and maintaining existing vehicle electrical systems.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety procedures.
• Supporting the wider workshop team as required.

• Has previous experience as an Auto Electrician or in a similar role.
• Has strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Is proactive, self-motivated and able to use their own initiative.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.
• Is flexible and willing to support the team during busy periods.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Takes pride in producing high-quality work with excellent attention to detail.
• Is reliable, organised and committed to maintaining high standards.
