ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
Leeds Centre – up to £26,000 depending on experience

The main responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant roles are:-
- Reconciliation of invoices and accurate recording onto the purchase ledger
- Credit card reconciliation
- Managing petty cash
- Creating POs and processing high volume of invoices on SAP
- Assist the financial aspects of property rentals
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records by entering data into the accounting system and ensuring proper coding and documentation
- Other finance tasks including financial modelling, variance analysis, ad hoc reporting, and assisting colleagues within the finance team
The ideal Accounts Assistant would meet the following criteria:-
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or AAT Lv 3 / 4 plus experience OR equivalent
- Experience in using SAP & XERO software or similar i.e. QuickBooks / SAGE
- Exceptionally high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident self-starter with sound analytical skills, able to operate under pressure and manage own workload
- Competent knowledge in MS Office applications especially MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS)
