up to £40,000K depending on salary

Bradford

Duties and experience:

Dealing with contractor management, permit issue, supervision for Hot Work, MEWP, Confined Space, Isolation and General permits. Typically 25 permits/month issued on site.
Covering for the Operations Manager eg holidays, off-site tank inspections etc
Mixing and Blending production planning. This is resource intensive due to the extensive range of small-batch, multi-component products manufactured at Bradford and the complex supply chains involved.   The Works Manager produces and reviews the production plan, receiving new enquiries and orders from the Blending Services team, works closely with Stock Control to ensure that raw materials are ordered and available when required, communicating with other depots as Bradford manufactures blends for most UKI depots.
Planned and Preventive Maintenance management, planning and administration.
Leadership and development of the Supervisors
Equipment and site services troubleshooting as escalated by Operatives and Supervisors
Zurich insurance including LOLER, Boiler Inspections on-site arrangements on-line admin.
Depot Risk Assessments, safety investigations, and actions arising from Near Miss Reports.
Coordinating FLT servicing and repairs and being the contact for our service provider Briggs
Health and Safety qualification
Relevant operations experience ideally involving hazardous chemicals
Good communication and literacy skills, and highly numerate
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Good leadership skills
