We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEO Specialist to join a growing company working within the manufacturing arena. This is a vital role to the corporate strategy with excellent career growth potential

The SEO Specialist is responsible for supporting the acquisition of customers through organic search, driving continued improvements in traffic, sales, and overall search engine performance. You will need to work collaboratively with the web development team to help achieve collective SEO goals, supporting the delivery and success of the overall SEO strategy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for executing SEO initiatives and supporting paid media activities, ensuring integrated campaign execution
  • Focus on analysing, strategy and improvement of on-site content and SEO improvements
  • Research keywords and complete competitor analysis
  • Content creation across relevant channels
  • Analyse performance of campaigns, identifying opportunities and facilitating change to achieve team targets
  • Identify opportunities for additional traffic drivers and conversion rate optimisation
  • Manage organic optimisation projects from strategy through implementation
  • Coordinate all campaign activities relating to SEO with the marketing team
  • Leverage skills in search engine writing to improve the effectiveness of site content
  • Monitor search engine results, analyse key website metrics and provide recommendations and strategies for continued improvement
  • Provide guidance and thought leadership to the marketing team
  • Monitor algorithmic changes in the key/identified search engines to determine when and how to adapt our proven delivery methodology
  • To use findings from research and audit to contribute to the organic marketing roadmaps
  • To analyse organic traffic, conversions and keyword ranking data, and provide analysis of results and suggested next steps for optimisation
  • Produce keyword dashboards and regular reports on organic performance

Job Qualifications

  • Significant SEO experience agency or in house
  • Experience in SEO and all the core disciplines required to deliver improvements in overall organic search performance
  • Strong technical SEO ability, with knowledge of the key technical factors which impact organic results
  • Knowledge of on-site web development, with the ability to understand the key changes required to improve site performance and manage this with on-site teams
  • Experience in developing high-quality and engaging content, with proven results for improving organic search traffic and site performance
  • Experience using SEO monitoring tools to understand overall organic performance
  • Strong skills with reporting and data analytics, with the ability to produce clear explanations for performance both to the wider team and senior leadership
  • Google Analytics and Search Console experience is essential
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects and resources in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in crafting an excellent standard of written and verbal communication.
  • Experience as a team member in a collaborative marketing team
