Due to an exciting period of growth we are recruiting for a Sales Support on behalf of our client who are a well established manufacturing company based in Greenfield.

This is a key opportunity for a confident, proactive Sale Support who can work closely with Managers and Supervisors to achieve set goals and targets.

Role: Sales Support Fixed Term 12 Months

Location: Greenfield

Salary:  £22,000 + Commission

Hours: 09:00 – 17:00

Duties include:

  • Deal with any incoming customer enquiries
  • Enquiries for sundries could range from a small bracket or replacement ‘widget’ to full a request for blinds / staging
  • Communication involves telephone conversations and email confirmation, follow up
  • Taking payment for sundries, creating relevant orders and distribution of these to the wider business.
  • Liaising with customers chasing up their sundry orders, confirming delivery information
  • Process sundry orders and customer payment - maintaining a high level of accuracy and in line with GDPR regulations.
  • Appointment schedule - To support the sales team, ensure that the weekly customer visit calendar (Google Calendar) is fully accurate with all holidays and all ‘planned’ customer visits for the next 4-weeks rolling. Escalate to the SD if there are any ‘clashes’ with more than one sales exec out on the same day.
  • Printout, updated each week, displayed in the sales office…
  • Internal parts price list - Maintaining and updating the parts price list with the SOM
  • Colour Swatch samples.
  • Utilise the agreed reporting template, ensuring that every customer is contacted, initially within 24 hours, without exception. Maintain the Excel spreadsheet as a ‘database of customer sundry enquiries’ to allow timely follow up
