Sales Administrator

East Leeds

Up to £25K depending on experience, plus free parking, employee bonus, Pension


Purpose of Role

To effectively support the Account Manager and sales function in maximising sales and margin. You will provide general office support for a variety of clerical activities and tasks including answering incoming calls, mail and serve as a point of contact for customers with queries about products, orders and deliveries.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Raise quotations, sales orders and purchase orders in a timely manner
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of orders according to customer needs and objectives
  • Ensure all administration for sales is completed effectively including purchase/sales orders, dispatch notifications, providing POD’s
  • Keep the customer updated throughout the order process
  • Updating CRM database with any changes
  • Ordering client samples
  • Check data accuracy in orders and invoices
  • Reception duties - meeting and greeting clients and visitors, main telephone switch board, enquiry email distribution
  • Ad hoc admin tasks for the sales team

Key Skills

  • Good IT skills and understanding of Microsoft office
