Our client as currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator, working within a busy Sales & Customer Services department, you will be dealing with customers, key accounts, and internal departments, to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
You will be responsible for the timely processing of customer orders, queries or requests by our customers or other colleagues.
Processing of customer orders and enquiries to meet company OTIF targets.
Handling of emails within the Sales, Web & Returns Inboxes, directly contacting customers where necessary.
Working towards the Sales Administration / Customer Service team objectives.
Monitor the sales open order book, ensuring customer orders are delivered on time.
Working with Key Accounts following and improving the required procedures.
Answering incoming phone calls, being proactive when there are live marketing campaigns or up-sell opportunities.
Creating Pro-Forma Invoices as required.
Maintaining and updating customer contact information on ERP and CRM systems.
Invoicing of daily order dispatches.
Production and circulation of daily sales figures.
Correcting EDI mapping errors.
To propose improvement initiatives aimed at increasing departmental efficiencies, managing any assigned improvement plans to completion
To perform other duties and tasks as requested
Confident manner with the ability to communicate at all levels and across all media types.
Able to work on own initiative.
Organised and methodical.
Sage ERP 1000 experience is advantageous but not essential
Experience of Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel and Word
Experience of Sales-I or other CRM systems is advantageous
