The Role: As a Quality Inspector your main duties will include:
- Goods inwards inspection against visual and dimensional requirements.
- Assess/approve first article inspection reports from vendors.
- Conduct patrol inspection in warehouse areas.
- Ensure calibration regimes are followed.
- Use of computer system to conduct acceptance/rejection of parts.
- Carry out initial problem resolution activities.
- Support Quality Engineers/engineering in problem resolution
- Material certificate analysis.
- Support Certified equipment inspection
- Liaise with Engineering, vendors, customers, quality and service teams.
- Conduct inspection against certification requirements and record results.
About You:
- You will be an experienced Quality Inspector
- Experience of using SAP is a distinct advantage
- Strong communication skills for internal colleagues and third-party contacts
- Team player
- Experienced within engineering is ideal
- Knowledge of inspecting drawings
- Competent in Excel and PowerPoint
You will be working a 37 hour week, with 1pm finish on a Friday, 25days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, bonus and a great working environment, well established and very successful business.
